Cheeseplate With Rod Clamp
The microPod Accessory Plate provides mounting holes and brackets to attach many different kinds of accessories to your on-camera rig. The microPod attaches to the camera rig via 15mm lightweight rod clamps, and has 17 1/4"" 20 and 12 3/8"" mounting holes. This plate can be used to attach on-camera monitors, articulating arms (aka Noga or isreali arms), or digital storage systems. The accessory bracket can be used to mount wireless mic receivers.
Use with Battery Plates
The microPod can also be used to mount battery plates and includes hole patterns for v-mount and Anton Bauer QRC-Gold battery adapter (AB part number QRSP200).
Use as Counterbalance
In a configuration that includes a battery the microPod also serves as an excellent counterbalance for rigs using the microShoulderMount.
