It's relatively easy to make a good-quality product for a high price, or a poor-quality product for a low price. But to make good products at low prices, you need to develop methods that are both cost-effective and innovative. This has been Redrock's focus since our beginnings. Maximizing the use of efficient supply chain and just-in-time production methods to meet your needs and preferences has meant that our costs are low. We always start out new product design by targeting a price point we think our customers can afford, and without sacrificing the quality and durability needed for the rigors of day-to-day production.

Direct to customer

Our primary method of sales is direct from us to you our customer. Bypassing the high costs of distributors and resellers allows us to pass on these savings to you in the form of lower prices. We also recognize that some customers prefer to see, touch, and hold our equipment prior to purchase. As a result we work with a select number of qualified resellers who represent Redrock worldwide.

Build to order

All products are product on a build-to-order process. You place your order and pay in advance, and we put your order into the production process and ship it to you when it is ready. This process allows us to minimize inventory costs, and helps us to provide the low prices to you without sacrificing quality.

Community support (develop and refine products, support each other)

We work with the online filmmaking community in ways that benefit you and us. First, we maintain active presence on community sites and our own forum. We offer suggestions and guidance on the purchase and use of our products, and also receive feedback on suggested product improvements or new products. Perhaps more importantly, we want to foster a community of customers who are active in helping each other by posting to forums, answering each other's questions, and offering their own experience and perspectives. Redrock Micro-brand cinema accessories are known the world over as the best price/performance for professional quality gear. We also deliver added peace of mind with the Redrock Lifetime Warranty.

Redrock Micro warrants to the original customer, for the life of each Redrock product, that it is free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Redrock will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Redrock on an exchange basis, and at Redrock’s sole option will be either new or refurbished that is functionally equivalent to new.

This warranty does not cover any damage to products that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply (if such applies), abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, dust, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. This warranty also does not apply to any product on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled or packaged incorrectly, has been sold as second-hand or has been resold contrary to the US export regulations.

This warranty covers only repair, replacement or refund for defective Redrock products, as provided above. Redrock is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty, any other equipment bought from Redrock that is not designed and manufactured by Redrock and is under the Redrock brand. This warranty excludes 3rd party equipment, and or equipment attached to Redrock products. In the event of a claim, Redrock's sole obligation shall be repair/replacement of the product. In no event will Redrock be responsible for incidental, consequential, or special loss of property, however caused. In no event will Redrock or Redrock employees have any personal liability whatsoever.

This Lifetime Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Redrock Micro products. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to alter this warranty or make any other warranty on behalf of Redrock Micro.

This warranty excludes products that may be sold by Redrock Micro but are manufactured by a third party. This includes such products as Zeiss Lenses. For these products, they are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty for Redrock Micro Electronic Products

Redrock Micro provides a one year limited warranty for Redrock products that contain electronic components. This limited hardware warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials of our products for up to one year, and does not cover damage to this product that results from improper installation, accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply (if applies), damage from incorrect cabling, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, dust or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification.

The M2 brings the quality and technology of high-end solutions at a fraction of the price. We have subsequently released the microFollowFocus, microPod, microLensSupport, and other high quality, low cost cinema accessories. In 2008 Redrock Micro unveiled the world's first cinema rig for video DSLRs such as the Canon 5D MKII and Canon 7D.
