Version 5.0 is an enhanced version of the microRemote firmware that specifically targets enhanced motor technologies included in new Torque Motors and SLS Motors. This update is only for users microRemote Basestations that have newly purchased Torque Motors or SLS Motors. ALL SLS motors AND Torque Motors that have a WHITE RING around the cable connection jack require this update to your existing Basestation.
